They grow up so fast...

My lil bro is getting so big, so fast! He already rolled over and is loving my hand-me-down walker. Slow down buddy!

Any suggestions?!

So, I'm supposed to be wearing glasses full time. I don't have vision problems per se, but since I only have one eye it needs to be protected. First of all they're not all that cute. Well, I make anything pretty much adorable, but still! Secondly how the heck do you keep these things on? They have an elastic band, but I see thru that easily. Mama put them on me this morning and I just don't like them. Any other lucky kiddos out there who wear these? How do your mamas keep them on you? Help!

Hook 'em!

Well our Horns didn't pull it off, as I'm sure you all know. They sure gave it a fight though! If Colt wouldn't have gotten injured I think we would be the National Champions. But, he did get hurt and that's that. However... I am pretty sure that our coach, Mack Brown, and our injured quarterback, Colt McCoy, are two of the biggest class acts in college football. I guarantee you that if the Horns would have been victorious, the first thing out of Mack's mouth would have been nothing but praise for the Alabama team. The Crimson Tide coach didn't even mention the Longhorns nor the injured opponent during his acceptance speech. Colt spoke with such maturity and grace and gave God the glory. His faith is unshakable and that made my mama cry. I'm still super proud to be a Texas Longhorn fan and we'll be back next year no doubt!

(Oh, and it's not fair that I had to go to bed before the game was over and my little brother Kylar got to stay up!)

It's game day baby!

First and foremost, let's go Texas! Hook 'em horns! We are fired up and ready for the game tonight! Kayson is wearing his horns shirt today too, but we didn't get a picture of him.

Secondly we went to San Antonio today to see our fabulous ocularist, Mr. Wenske. My eye has been hurting me for a while and so we decided to get it checked out. Good thing is that there is no infection, woo hoo! Mr. Wenske shaved a little bit off of my prosthetic and then game me some lubricating drops and we're hopeful that will do the trick! The best part about the whole thing is that I am starting to get used to having my eye taken in and out. I was such a good boy today. I still screamed a bit, but for the most part I cooperated. Mommy was SOOOO happy about this.

We're staying inside today, close to the fire. Hope your are all staying warm too.
